Corluka, 25, has started just one Premier League game for Spurs this season, and has been vocal about his disappointment at his lack of game time. Worried about the effect it will have on his chances of securing a Euro 2012 place, and with Kyle Walker looking to have permanently jumped ahead of him in the pecking order, a move away seems inevitable.
West Ham, second in the Championship, may face competition from Serie A outfit Roma, who have also been linked with Corluka in the past weeks. West Ham Chairman, David Sullivan, has also admitted a move may prove difficult, saying, “It’s not easy to acquire key players clubs don’t want to lose.”
