Bond wary of Suarez threat

Harry Redknapp will travel by private jet to reach Anfield in time for tonight’s crunch Premier League fixture between Tottenham and Liverpool, reports The Daily Mail.

Redknapp, 64, is current standing trial with former employer Milan Mandaric on tax evasion charges. The trial is entering its final stages, with the verdict expected to be announced at the end of the week. With today’s proceedings drawing to a close around 4.30pm, Redknapp would otherwise not have enough time to travel up to Merseyside; however, with his travel by private jet arranged, he hopes to arrive ahead of kick-off in time to deliver his team talk.

Meanwhile, ahead of the fixture, Kevin Bond has admitted the inclusion of Suarez could make Liverpool a more threatening prospect. “You never know, he might not even be in the starting line-up,” he said. “But the introduction of Suarez on a big match night at Anfield means they will be a really tough nut to crack.”
