More to come from Bale says Bond

Kevin Bond, Tottenham’s assistant manager, has claimed that Gareth Bale still has room for improvement, despite the Welshman’s fine form this season, reports Goal.com.

Bale, 22, has ten goals in twenty four appearances for Tottenham in all competitions this season, has been linked with interest from Spanish club Barcelona, and recently won the Barclay’s Premier League Player of the Month award for January. However, speaking to reporters, Bond said, “He is improving, he has done terrific, and I think there is still more to come from him and he wants to improve as well.

“We were with him when he was at Southampton and we always thought he was a fantastic prospect. He’s on top of his form, you can see that he is full of confidence at the moment. Now he has a little bit more freedom, he has added to his game. He has a bit of variation, he comes inside a bit. It helps him and it makes it difficult for opponents to pin him down.”
