Tottenham striker Louis Saha has expressed his delight at scoring a brace on his debut for the club, reports Goal.com.
The
Saha first got on the end of Adebayors cross from the right to put Spurs 2-0 up, before the Togo international chested down a cross for Saha to fire home on his right foot, helping his side to a 4-0 half-time lead.
“It was a great, great feeling,” he told reporters after the game. “I am not that young, but it was just like I was living the dream of a young boy – to make your debut and score on your home ground, it’s just amazing.
“Adebayor was immense,” he continued. “Physically, his work rate and desire to get involved with everything was great. He was involved in everything. It’s dead easy to play with him and he is a great character to be around.”
Tottenham will now prepare for next Sunday’s FA Cup 5th round tie away to Stevenage Borough, before their next league tie a week later, away to Arsenal, who currently sit ten points behind Tottenham in 4th place.
