Villas-Boas outlines Chelsea season plan

With the Premier League title all but beyond them and the Carling Cup adventure long gone, Chelsea have two competitions left to salvage their season. How they perform in the Champions League and FA Cup is vitally important as the fans will demand success, a pressure Andre Villas-Boas knows all too well.

Speaking to The Sun Villas-Boas said: “The objectives we have for this season are pretty much outlined. We have two competitions where we look better, and another competition where we have to dilute the damage and try to finish fourth, at least, which is not a very honourable position for the dimension of this club.”

The Portuguese manager was also quick to add that he is building at Chelsea for the long-term and has his sights set on future campaigns: “Bearing in mind the rest, we focus on the same and a lot of focus on next year’s progress as well.”
