The Liverpool manager said: “I’m sure the FA will look into it and take him to task. If you can’t comment on the England manager’s position, then I’m sure he can’t comment on another player.”
It was reported earlier this week that Wenger had criticised the amount of play-acting in the Premier League, pointing to Luis Suarez’s actions in winning a penalty for Liverpool against Arsenal as an example. Wenger derided what he saw as histrionics from the Uruguayan.
