Tottenham Hotspur goalkeeper Brad Friedel has called on his teammates to rediscover their best form as the Premier League season enters its crucial final months with Champions League qualification up for grabs, the
Friedel, who joined Spurs from Aston Villa last summer, believes Tottenham’s string of four games without a win will end when his colleagues begin to play with their natural freedom again. The former United States international is quoted as saying: “I think it’s about going out and enjoying yourself and expressing yourself because those are the types of players we have.”

Friedel arrived at White Hart Lane following three years in the Midlands with Aston Villa and, before that, eight years at Blackburn Rovers. The goalkeeper originally came to England with Liverpool in December 1997 but made only 31 appearances in three years before moving to Ewood Park, where Friedel went on to feature in more than 300 games.
