Liverpool midfielder Shelvey to be loaned out again

The Liverpool Echo claims that Liverpool midfielder Jonjo Shelvey will be allowed to leave the club on loan until the end of the season.

Blackpool, for whom Shelvey played 10 games earlier this season, and Middlesbrough are believed to be interesting in signing the 20-year-old on a temporary basis. Shelvey was recalled by Liverpool from his loan spell at Blackpool in late November following an injury to Lucas Levia which ruled the Brazilian out for the rest of the season.

Shelvey, who has made four league appearances for Liverpool in this campaign, and a further two in the FA Cup, moved to Anfield from Charlton Athletic in 2010 and made his Liverpool debut in a shock League Cup defeat by Northampton Town in September of that year. Under Roy Hodgson and then Kenny Dalglish Shelvey made 21 appearances for Liverpool last season, including a number in the Europa League and has been capped by England U-21s.
