March will define our season warns Liverpool midfielder Adam

Liverpool midfielder Charlie Adam has warned his teammates that this month will be vital to the club’s success, according to ESPN.

Adam said: “March is probably going to define the season for us and we’re going to keep playing and trying to win as many games as we can.

This month Liverpool have so far have lost to Arsenal at Anfield after Robin van Persie’s late second goal. This weekend the Reds travel to Sunderland while the rest of March sees home fixtures against Everton, Stoke City in the FA Cup and Wigan Athletic, with an away trip to Queens Park Rangers to come as well.

Liverpool are currently seventh in the Premier League, five points behind Newcastle United, three points ahead of Fulham and five clear of their Saturday opponents Sunderland. With an FA Cup quarter-final to come against Stoke Liverpool also have the opportunity to return to Wembley soon after their triumphant League Cup final against Cardiff City at the end of February. A win over the Potters would put Liverpool into a semi-final to be played at the national stadium due to be held in mid-April.
