Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain has praised Arsenal teammate Alex Song for his passing ability, going so far as to compare the midfielder with the Gunners’ former captain, Barcelona midfielder Cesc Fabregas, according to ESPN.

Oxlade-Chamberlain said: “Some of the passes [Song] been putting in, like for two of the unbelievable volleys [van Persie] has scored, reminds me technically of watching Fabregas put those balls through.”
Song arrived at Arsenal as an 18-year-old in 2005, originally on loan from French club Bastia. Now 24, Song has gone on to play almost 200 games for Arsene Wenger’s side, including 38 games in all competitions this season. The midfielder also had a loan spell at Charlton Athletic in 2007, playing 12 games for the London side and has picked up 30 caps for his country.
