Eden Hazard declared in January that he would like to move to the Premier League. His response to a question on Belgian TV station RTBF that Tottenham Hotspur maybe a destination sent the rumor mill into overdrive. According to The
Tottenham have registered an interest with Hazard’s club Lille, as have Manchester City, Chelsea and Manchester United; according to reports Sir Alex Ferguson has seen him “in person” three times now. Whilst the other clubs have registered an interest, only Harry Redknapp has gone vocal on the subject – this may be bizarre in itself, why would a manager who may not even be at the club beyond May discuss summer transfer targets, let alone tip his club’s hand to all and sundry? In return Hazard has been fluttering his eyelashes at a variety of clubs. Before the Premier League, the Belgian stated how well Spain might suit him [as long as it was Real Madrid or Barcelona], and since his comment about Spurs has been flattered by Manchester United’s attention.
