Tottenham midfielder Parker unconcerned by Arsenal form

Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Scott Parker says the strong form of Arsenal does not worry him, the Daily Mirror reports, after the Gunners moved to within a single point of Harry Redknapp’s side in the Premier League table.

Parker, who captained England against the Netherlands recently, said: “I wouldn’t say we’re worried one bit. We’re focused. We need to win football matches. That’s it. We know what we need to do. We need to all pull together and see through the last remaining part of the season.

Arsenal have won each of their last four Premier League matches after coming from a goal down, including the North London derby at the Emirates Stadium in which Tottenham took a two-goal lead, only to be pegged back before half-time and eventually lose 5-2. Prior to that game Spurs held a 10-point advantage over Arsenal, cut to one in the weeks since then.

Spurs have lost their last three Premier League games, the first time such an unwanted landmark has been recorded under Redknapp, going down to Arsenal followed by a 3-1 reverse at home against Manchester United and a 1-0 defeat to Everton at Goodison Park.
