Arsenal striker Marouane Chamakh looks set to leave London this summer and could return to former club Bordeaux this summer, according to the Daily
The Moroccan forward, who moved to Emirates Stadium on a free transfer in May 2010, has made nine Premier League appearances for the Gunners so far this term, including just a single start.
And the Daily Express claims that the out-of-favour target-man was recently given a private dressing down by manager Arsene Wenger after he was caught smoking a shisha pipe.
However, despite Bordeaux’s interest in Chamakh, the French side may be put off by his £50,000-a-week salary at Arsenal and could instead make a loan move for the 28-year-old and offer to pay half of his wages.
Meanwhile, Ligue 1 title-challengers Paris Saint-Germain are also thought to be interested in acquiring Chamakh’s services, but Carlo Ancelotti’s side have not yet made a move for the Arsenal striker.
