Arsenal may offer Chelsea winger Salomon Kalou the chance to stay in the Premier League if the Ivory Coast international leaves Stamford Bridge when his contract expires this summer, ClubCallhas
Despite featuring on a regular basis under interim manager Roberto Di Matteo Kalou’s future at Chelsea is unclear, with his contract expiring at the end of June and the possibility a new deal will not be forthcoming. That would leave Kalou able to move to the Emirates Stadium on a free transfer, and ClubCall notes that Gunners manager Arsene Wenger is known to be an admirer of the 26-year-old. Kalou himself has also reportedly admitted a move to Arsenal would be of interest.
Kalou would not be the first player of recent times to go from Chelsea’s west London address to Arsenal’s home in the north of the capital. Yossi Benayoun is currently on loan at the latter from the former while William Gallas swapped blue for red as part of the transfer that took Ashley Cole in the opposite direction.
