Chelsea will on Thursday announce the players who will be leaving the club this summer when their contracts expire and, while Didier Drogba has already confirmed he will be seeking pastures new, Salomon Kalou and Jose Bosingwa will also feature on the list of the departing, the BBC
Winger Kalou and right-back Bosingwa featured on a regular basis for Chelsea in the season just ended, the former making 26 appearances and scoring five goals, the latter 43 appearances and scoring once. Kalou however went from mid-December to mid-February without playing for his club as he fell out of favour under Andre Villas-Boas, while Bosingwa had to battle Branislav Ivanovic to be the club’s first-choice right-back.
Kalou, 26, moved to Stamford Bridge from Feyenoord in a £6m deal in 2006 and has a total 254 appearances to his name, as well as 60 goals. 29-year-old Bosingwa was signed from Porto for £18m in 2009 made 127 appearances for the club.
