Hulk open to Chelsea move says agent

Porto’s highly rated Brazilian striker Hulk is open to discussing a possible move to Chelsea, his agent has told the Telegraph.

Chelsea will be losing Didier Drogba from their attack this Summer, and Fernando Torres has recently voiced his unhappiness at how he was treated by the club. 25-year-old Hulk would match more the Drogba style of play, being strong and powerful, with an excellent long-range shot just one of the strings to his bow.

And his agent has admitted that the player would be open to a move to Chelsea, and the report claims a price of £35m may be enough to force Porto into letting the player go.

“We are open to talks with Chelsea at any time, any place”, Hulk’s agent Teodoro Fonseca said. “There is interest, but at the moment there is still nothing concrete. He likes the English Premier League a lot and Chelsea are a good club for Hulk.”

Hulk, capped nine times by Brazil, has netted 16 goals in 26 league games this term, and 23 in 26 the previous season under Andre Villas-Boas, as he helped his side to Europa League victory.
