Everton manager David Moyes is the early favourite to replace Harry Redknapp at Tottenham Hotspur, ESPN
Moyes has been at Everton since March 2002, guiding the club to a string of top-six finishes and a brief appearance in the Champions League in 2005, as well as the FA Cup final in 2009. The Scot has a year left on his current contract at Goodison Park, the same amount of time that was outstanding on Redknapp’s Spurs deal before he parted company with the club.
Wigan Athletic manager Roberto Martinez, who was earlier this summer linked with the vacancies at Liverpool and Aston Villa, is also said to be high on the list of replacements for the former Portsmouth boss.
ESPN notes that Moyes has a reputation for success on a shoestring budget, having recorded a number of high-placed league finishes at Goodison Park despite operating under restrictive financial circumstances.
