Nolito eyeing return to La Liga

Portuguese giants Benfica are refusing to yield to the demands of star striker Nolito.The board at the stadium of light are fully aware that the Spaniard remains the number one target of Real Betis, who would be willing to take Nolito on loan, but are unwilling to cough up the € 6million price tag that Benfica have put on the players head.

Relations are good between the two clubs, but the answer’s coming from Lisbon won’t have cheered the hearts of Beticos and Nolito alike .Coach at Benfica, Jorge Jesus sees Nolito as his number one striker at the club despite having signed the Dutchman Ola Jonh, a player with similar characteristics.Nolito’s performances this season have made him first choice at the club, and unless Betis come up with a sufficient offer, the player will stay put for the time being .
