Chelsea’s Brazil international midfielder Ramires has admitted he hopes his compatriot and national team colleague Hulk joins him at Stamford Bridge, the
The Mail adds that Hulk appeared to signal his desire to leave Portugal in an interview earlier this week when he hinted it was time for him to leave the Portuguese champions. The 25-year-old has been at Porto since 2008, moving to Iberia from Japanese side Tokyo Verdy.
Ramires, who is on holiday in his homeland, said: “I really hope [Hulk] comes. I have played with him in the Brazil national team and we were on opposite sides while I was at Benfica. Of course, he would add a lot to the squad. If it was up to me, it would all be sorted already.”
Ramires has been at Chelsea since 2010. The 25-year-old has made 85 appearances in his two years at Chelsea, scoring 14 goals, including a vital strike in last season’s Champions League semi-final against Barcelona, but the former Cruzeiro player missed the final through suspension. Ramires also has 27 international caps, whereas Hulk has appeared 11 times for the five-time World Cup winners.
