“We are looking into the reports.”, a spokesman for Uefa told Press Association Sport.
This is the third investigation of the tournament, as the Spain v Italy and Russia v Czech Republic games are also under the spotlight.
Members of a Spanish fans’ group have admitted that they notice some Spain fans aiming racist abuse towards Balotelli in the Italy game. Italy and Spain are both still in contention to qualify for the quarter-finals, and are in action on Monday.
