Former Manchester United and Bayern Munich midfielder Owen Hargreaves is training with QPR, reports
Hargreaves has suffered an injury-plagued last few years and has been released by Manchester United and Manchester City in the last two summers, due to his failure to shake of his injury problems.
However, Mark Hughes stopped short of suggesting Hargreaves, who is a free agent, was in line for a move to Loftus Road: “Owen is training with the group, there is no obligation for either party. He is keen to retain his fitness and we are more than happy to help him by allowing him to train with us and use our facility at Harlington.”
Hargreaves has 42 England caps and is considered one of the country’s finest defensive midfielders, but his years of injuries has led to sides reluctant to take a gamble on the 31-year-old.
