Hulk has denied all transfer rumours surrounding him, claiming that he has not spoken to anyone about a possible move away from Porto.
Reported in the Metro,
He said: “I have four more years on my contract with Porto, and I’m focusing on the national team. I haven’t talked to anyone. As everyone knows, I don’t follow negotiations closely as that will make me lose my focus. I let my agent deal with that stuff.”
Chelsea were thought to be favorites to sign the Brazilian international after tracking the striker for a few years. At the beginning of the summer there were speculated figures in the region of £35 million however Porto have also denied any contact with any club regarding the possible sale of Hulk – who has a £78 million release clause in his contract.
It’s clear to see why there is such overwhelming interest in the attacker; in four seasons at Porto he has notched 52 goals in 96 league games making him Porto’s top scorer in their back-to-back championship winning seasons these last two years.
