The trio have been linked with van Persie throughout the summer, after the Netherlands international announced he would not be extending his contract with the Gunners, sparking off a series of bids for the 28-year-old. All have thus far been rejected but Juventus are said to be readying another offer that could tempt Arsenal into parting with their captain.
Juventus will reportedly hand over a £20m transfer fee for van Persie and pay the forward £190,000 per week after tax for the next five years – or what the Mirror describes as a £70m deal. The newspaper adds that Juventus have promised to top any offer made by Manchester United, who are said to be confident of landing the Dutchman.
