Paris Saint-Germain are considering making a £40m offer for Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Luka Modric, the
However, Modric’s proposed move to Spain has stalled over the price Madrid are willing to pay. The Guardian notes that Madrid’s offer has reached no higher than £31m, including add-ons, as the club argues Tottenham’s £40m valuation is no longer realistic now the player has made plain he wants to move on. Spurs disagree and chairman Daniel Levy is said to be holding out for what he sees the player’s true worth.
