Emmanuel Adebayor looks set to lose his move away from Manchester City after the Togo striker continued to demand a large sum of the agreed transfer fee to make the switch.
According to the Mirror both Tottenham and City are losing patience with the Togo forward with Spurs starting to search elsewhere.
The two Premier League sides had agreed a fee earlier in the summer of around £4 million but Adebayor has reportedly demanded he receives the full transfer fee effectively making the move a free transfer with £4 million going to the player.
This is another twist in the ongoing saga in which the current English champions have already agree to subsidies the player’s wages at White Hart Lane so that he wouldn’t lose out on any money that had been apart of his contract at the Etihad.
Speculation is now growing that Daniel Levy and Andre Villas-Boas have grown tired of the pursuit and will now test Leandro Damiao’s resolve once again as they look to add a new striker to the first eleven.
