Mark Hughes is set to add another marquee name to his growing Queens Park Rangers squad with the imminent arrival of former Chelsea right-back Jose Bosingwa. According to the Daily
Bosingwa left Chelsea after not being offered a new deal despite being part of their Champions League winning side. However, during his time at the club he failed to hold down a regular first team place due to injuries and competition from Branislav Ivanovic. In four years at the club the right-back managed 89 Premier League games and three goals.
Should the 29-year-old choose to join QPR he would be the eighth arrival at Loftus Road this summer as Hughes looks to turn the relegation battle of last season into a stronger league performance this time out.
The former Porto defender would be the most decorated member of the new look QPR squad, having won the Champions Leagues twice, four Portuguese league titles, one Premier League and a range of domestic trophies from both countries.
