Real Madrid have made another offer for Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Luka Modric with the
The bid is still said to fall short of the £40m price tag placed on Modric by Spurs chairman Daniel Levy. Madrid will offer around £30m for the 26-year-old but Levy has long insisted he will not accept anything below £40m, leaving the clubs still some way apart.

Tottenham however believe their verbal agreement with the Modric camp to sell the player only applies if their valuation is met, which has not yet happened.
