Hugo Lloris will discuss personal terms in the next 48 hours with Tottenham after a deal was struck with Lyon for the French goalkeeper.
According to the Telegraph
Lloris signed for Lyon in 2008 and has since played 171 games in total for the club – winning the Ligue 1 goalkeeper of the year three times during his career at the club, last season being most recent.
In the same season he made the switch to Lyon he also made his international debut going on to become his countries first choice and to date making 38 appearances with 19 clean sheets.
The 29-year-old’s arrival at White Hart Lane should spell the end for Heurelho Gomes, the Brazilian has found himself surplus to requirements since Brad Friedel arrived last summer and this new addition to the goalkeeping team seems to be the final nail in the coffin.
The North London side have until 11pm on Friday to finalize terms and conditions.
