Malouda, 32, and 33-year-old Ferreira, have been banished from first team squad activities and were ordered to play against Charlton Athletic on Friday, a match held while the club’s senior internationals were away with their respective countries. Malouda, however, has lost his place in the France side after Euro 2012, while Ferreira cannot force his way back into the Portugal set-up.
The Mail adds that Malouda may have his No. 15 shirt taken away from him in the near future, while Malouda also revealed last week that he was to train with the reserves and youth team for the next year, the final one of his contract.
