Stoke manager Tony Pulis has lambasted Chelsea for what he perceived as their readiness to go to ground in the Blues’ tight 1-0 victory over the Potters on Saturday.
According to ITV.com,
“This is England,” said Pulis, who was also unhappy that a two-footed tackle from Chelsea’s David Luiz on Jon Walters was only deemed worthy of a yellow card by referee Michael Oliver. “We’re playing in England. We’re not playing in Europe. And we can’t watch people just fall over and not talk about it. That’s the disappointing thing. We should keep highlighting it and keep highlighting and keep highlighting it.”
From being previously seen as an unbeaten side, Stoke are now without a win in their opening five Premier League games so far this season and having been knocked out of the Capital One Cup by lower league Swindon in the last round, have a week until they take the field of play again at home to Swansea.
