Swansea’s players are said to be unhappy with the tactics Laudrup is attempting to instil at the club, as well as feeling they are not as fit under Laudrup as they were his predecessor, Liverpool’s Brendan Rodgers. Laudrup is also said to have poorer communication skills than Rodgers, which has also adversely effected his relationship with his new squad.
The newspaper adds however that Jenkins is not considering terminating Laudrup’s tenure at the Liberty Stadium early, with the chairman placing a value on continuity above all else. Under Laudrup, Swansea made a storming start to the season, romping past Queens Park Rangers 5-0 on the opening day of the season at Loftus Road, but have found results harder to come by lately and are currently 11th, the same position in which they ended last season under Rodgers.
