Liverpool eye up Anzhi striker Traore

Liverpool are reportedly set to embark on a pursuit of Anzhi Makhachkala striker Lacina Traore as they look to add to their currently threadbare set of forwards.

However, with Traore’s contract at big-spending Anzhi running until 2016, the striker’s agent warned it would not be easy to persuade Guus Hiddink to sell one of his prized assets.

He recently signed a new contract until 2016. Traore has no need to hurry. We’ll go ahead and first let him get experienceLiverpool v Wigan
