The likes of Cole, Downing, Henderson and Enrique are all free to find other clubs in the winter transfer window, the newspaper adds, yet it is expected to prove difficult to offload the unwanted players due to their long contracts and expensive wages. Cole alone is earning £5m a year for the duration of his four-year contract.
