Arsenal linked with Milito move

Arsenal could be looking to increase their striking options by making a move for Inter Milan striker Diego Milito, according to Football Italia.

The Gunners, who host champions Man City today at the Emirates, could make a move for the Nerazzurri striker and capitalize on the financial situation at the San Siro.

With Inter looking to lower their wage bill, several players are being linked with moves away – and this is not the first time that Milito has been mooted as a potential import to North London.

Last year, both Arsenal and Spurs were thought to be scouting the striker, who scored both goals in the 2010 Champions League final as Inter beat Bayern Munich 2-0.

The 33-year-old Argentinian, who has scored eight goals in 18 games so far this season, was left on the bench for last night’s visit of Pescara, reportedly due to a muscular problem.
