Beckham unlikely to join West Ham or QPR

David Beckham is said to be getting close to a decision on his next move after the former England captain left LA Galaxy late last year, but the Daily Mail has reported that it is considered unlikely the ex-Manchester United star moves to either West Ham United or Queens Park Rangers.

Both London clubs had been linked with a move for the midfielder but the newspaper claims Beckham is unlikely to join a team in the capital city. Retirement is also said to be far from the thoughts of the 37-year-old – unless Beckham is not interested in any of the offers made to his camp thus far, at which point hanging up his boots may become an option.

Beckham left the Galaxy having helped the club to a second MLS Cup, taking a first in 2011, having moved to the United States in 2007 when his Real Madrid contract ended. Beckham, who began his career at Old Trafford, also played for Italian side Milan in two loan spells, and amassed 115 England caps in his 13 years as a senior international.
