Emmanuel Frimpong has moved from north London to west London after completing a season-long loan move from Arsenal to Fulham, Sky
Frimpong spent time earlier this season at another club in the capital, Charlton Athletic, having recovered from a serious knee injury that blighted his loan spell last season at Wolverhampton Wanderers. Frimpong ruptured his cruciate ligament in only his fifth appearance for the Midlands club, who went on to be relegated at the end of the season.
The 21-year-old has played only twice for Arsenal this season, featuring in the Capital One Cup against Coventry City and Reading, having graduated from the Arsenal academy to the first team in August 2011. He made his first appearance for the Gunners against Newcastle United but was sent off on his first start against Liverpool shortly after.
In total Frimpong has made 16 appearances for Arsene Wenger’s side, coming mostly in cup competitions or dead-rubber European ties, and has yet to score for the club. He played six games while on loan at Charlton, recording a draw, two wins and three defeats in his half-dozen matches.
