It might have been a slow start to his reign as Tottenham manager but confidence is flowing in the Spurs camp ahead of Wednesday night’s Barclays Premier League trip to Norwich.

Tottenham have a good record in Premier League history against the Canaries at Carrow Road, winning on each of their last four visits, but were beaten on their last trip by Chris Hughton’s side in the League Cup in October.
AVB believes a recent run against the struggling mid-table side that stretches to no wins in three, combined with the disappointing FA Cup demise at Leeds on Sunday will add incentives into the encounter.
He said: “We wanted to continue in the FA Cup and it’s a pity, we had high expectations and we’re disappointed to be out.
“Norwich have also had some good results against us recently and I think this can inspire us. It’s something we’re aware of and the players will react to it.”
Spurs have lost just one of their last 11 Premier League matches since crumbling 5-2 in the North London derby. They hold the final Champions League qualification place, and will face Lyon next month in the UEFA Europa League round of 32.
