Bacary Sagna will make his Arsenal return this weekend when the Gunners meet Tottenham Hotspur in the final north London derby of the Premier League season, the
Sagna missed Arsenal’s 2-1 win over Aston Villa last weekend and was doubtful for the match at White Hart Lane after injuring knee ligaments, but is said to be on course to play, where he will come up against the division’s form player, Gareth Bale.
If Sagna does not make it then Carl Jenkinson is expected to continue at right-back, having lined up in the position against Villa.
Arsenal and Tottenham are separated by two places – Arsenal in fifth, Tottenham in third – and four points ahead of the fixture between the sides. Arsenal won the first game, earlier in the season at the Emirates Stadium, running out 5-2 winners after former Arsenal striker Emmanuel Adebayor was sent off.
