Yaya Toure will not decide if his future lies with Manchester City or one of his continental suitors until the end of the season, the
Toure has two years remaining on his City contract and his agent, Dimitri Seluk, recently warned the Premier League champions to make an offer to his client sooner rather than later. But City have a policy of not negotiating new contracts during the season and are unwilling to change their stance for Toure, and the midfielder appears to be in no rush to talk terms of a new deal.
“ You know that with the approach of the transfer window, there are many things that are said. We are professional and so far I have not given any agreement with any club, Toure said, adding: “I am, for the moment, a City player, and I will fight so that we finish the season in good conditions.
“In a club, there are players and administrators. We are like soldiers and we carry out what employers say. The most important thing for me is to continue to have fun and to entertain the public.”
Toure, who also denied having any contact with PSG, moved to City from Barcelona in 2010, winning the FA Cup in his first season at the Etihad Stadium and a year later playing a pivotal role as City claimed their first league title in more than 40 years.
