Arsenal could be set to make a summer move for QPR hitman Loic Remy if Rangers are relegated this season, reports The
The Frenchman was on Gunners boss Arsene Wenger’s radar during the January transfer window, but opted against it due to the 26-year-old’s injury record during his spell at Marseille.
Remy ultimately moved to Loftus Road in an £8m move, and has impressed during his months in London.
He reportedly has a relegation clause in his contract meaning that Wenger could potentially get his man for around £6m, which is only a fraction of the reported war chest available at Wenger’s disposal in the summer.
With a £30m bid on the horizon for Stevan Jovetic, as well as a midfielder likely to be recruited to fill the role of Abou Diaby, the Gunners are hoping that a revamp can help them in their bid for silverware next season.
