Ferguson doesn’t want to bring Falcao to Man United

Sir Alex Ferguson has poured cold water on reports that he could be preparing a part-exchange deal involving Javier Hernandez for £48m-rated Colombian hitman Radmael Falcao, reports The Sun.

The 27-year-old striker has attracted worldwide attention for his performances with Atletico Madrid, with Chelsea and Man City also thought to be keen on his services.

It is thought that Falcao has a buyout clause in his contract which could allow for a big club to stump up the readies to secure his signature.

When asked about the reported offer being prepared, Ferguson said: “Do you honestly believe that? You amaze me you people.”

The Scotsman is thought to be wanting to add another striker to his books in the summer, but also insists he has no plans to sell Wayne Rooney.

Borussia Dortmund hitman Robert Lewandowski is thought to be high on Ferguson’s wishlist, with the £30m-rated striker also being wanted by Arsenal.
