Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers is set to return to raid old club Swansea City once more, as he is eyeing up a potential move for star striker, Michu, reports Spanish
Liverpool are currently the league’s third highest scorers this season having netted 67 times, and Rodgers is keen to add even more fire power to his attack and Michu, who can play either just behind the striker, or lead the line himself, is now believed to be a priority target.
The Spaniard, who joined Swansea from Rayo Vallecano for just over £2m last summer, is now rated in the region of £30m following an exceptional campaign for the Welsh side which has seen him score 17 goals in 32 appearances.
The report suggests that thanks to such a successful season, Liverpool are not the only club interested in Michu with Tottenham Hotspur and Everton, who are both known to be looking for an attacker this summer, also interested.
