Moyes wants Cornelius to come to Everton

Eat Sleep Sport have reported that Everton manager David Moyes is weighing up a potential move for the young Danish striker, Andreas Cornelius as he looks to add more fire power to his attack ahead of next season.

Despite a season which has seen Moyes and his team earn many plaudits, Everton’s need for a new striker is well publicised as Victor Anichebe has failed to establish himself as an automatic choice, and Nikica Jelavic has been unable to maintain his initial good form, meaning that many of the team’s goals have come from midfield.

The 20-year-old target man is expected to have a number of suitors this summer after scoring eighteen goals in the league for FC Copenhagen; form which has seen him secure a spot in the Denmark international set up.

It is rumoured that a fee of £5m would be enough to secure the youngster’s services, a fee that would prove to be a bargain if he is able to continue his current goal scoring form in the more demanding Premier League.
