Struggling Norwich will surely be targeting all three points at home to a Swansea side that almost certainly look to have shut off shop after an impressive season that has seen them cement their place in the Premier League as well collect their maiden trophy in the form of the Capital One Cup.
The reverse fixture between the two sides saw the Canaries impressively record a 4-3 victory at the Liberty Stadium to take their unbeaten run to nine matches. However, since then Chris Hughton’s men have only added two more victories to that tally and a failure to get anywhere near that level of goalscoring threat has contributed to a run that has left them in 14th place and just four points above the drop zone.
Wary of the need for goals, Hughton may elect to pair Kei Kamara and Grant Holt up front, though he will at least have goalkeeper Mark Bunn available again after suspension. Elsewhere, midfielder Alexander Tettey has overcome a knee injury but Anthony Pilkington and John Ruddy remain absent with hamstring and thigh problems respectively.
Swansea have been defeated three times in four matches since their Wembley success over Bradford City in late February and boss Michael Laudrup has been keen to reinvigorate his players in the week as he attempts to garner momentum before the club’s maiden voyage into European football next season.
Chico Flores will be available again after making his return from ankle ligament damage last week while Angel Rangel should also return to the side after missing last week’s defeat to Tottenham with a calf injury.
