Liverpool’s teenage winger Jordan Ibe is hoping Sunday’s first team debut will spur him to establishing a successful career with the Anfield club, reports Sky
The 17-year-old made his senior team bow against Queens Park Rangers at Anfield in the Reds’ final game of the season, playing 64 minutes of the match. And it was an impressive start for Ibe, who made the assist for Philipe Coutinho’s winner in the 1-0 victory which saw Liverpool legend Jamie Carragher make his 737th and final appearance for the club.
Ibe started his youth career with Charlton Athletic before moving to Wycombe, signing for Liverpool from the Wanderers last year. He had made seven first team appearances for Wycombe and has also made an international appearance in his England Under-18 debut against Italy last October.
