According to Sky
The Chilean manager has admitted that it remains unlikely that he will remain in charge at Malaga beyond the end of the current season, though he refused to explicitly state the identity of his next career move.
He claimed that he and several players would be leaving the club due to the ailing financial situation, saying: “I have already made it clear that it is not ideal to end the season in this way. We are in unusual circumstances. I don’t think any of us really want to leave Malaga.
“Everyone would prefer to stay but unfortunately, the circumstances we are in don’t allow that.”
Pellegrini refused to be drawn any further on speculation regarding his future, saying that in the short-term he and his players must work their hardest to ensure European football for the club next season, whether they will be there to enjoy the travels or not.
He said: “We are just concentrating on making sure the team finishes in the European places.
“The future is uncertain for all of us, the coaching staff and players have discussed our situation but right now, Malaga’s main concern must be to focus only on reaching the objectives we set at the start of the campaign.”
