Schurrle hopes for Chelsea deal agreement

Long-term Chelsea target Andre Schurrle is keen for Bayer Leverkusen and Chelsea to come to an agreement, allowing the 22-year-old German to make his desired move to Stamford Bridge.

According to a report in the Daily Mail, Leverkusen are holding out for an agreement that Blues winger Kevin De Bruyne can come in the opposition on a one year loan deal.

“I certainly think I have played my last game for Leverkusen,” Schurrle said. “I very much want to go to Chelsea. Everything is clear in my mind, and I don’t know why the club still haven’t allowed the move to go through. I just hope something is resolved soon.”

Schurrle has just completed his fourth full season in the Bundesliga, scoring 11 goals in 34 matches this term. His first two campaigns came for Mainz 05, before moving on for £6.5m to Leverkusen. He has also been capped 23 times for the Germany national team.

The report also suggests that Borussia Dortmund could be interested in signing the player, possibly as a general replacement for outgoing star Mario G
