Cazorla rejects exit talk amid Real Madrid rumours

Santi Cazorla has told The Daily Star he has no desire to leave Arsenal and instead wants to win trophies with the north London club.

The midfielder is currently on international duty at the Confederations Cup with Spain but that has not stopped rumours surfacing this summer linking him to Real Madrid. Having scored 12 goals for Arsenal last term Cazorla has earned a devout following in the Emirates stands and he appears determined to repay that loyalty:

“I have three years left on my contract and I have not thought of anything like [leaving]. My plan is to continue at the club,” said the 28-year-old.

“Arsenal are treating me very well and I want to win a title with them.”

Cazorla made 45 appearances last season and the Gunners relied on him to provide much of their attacking flair. Boss Arsene Wenger is gearing up for a transfer spree this summer, with Madrid’s Gonzalo Higuain expected through the Emirates doors later in the week.
