Lucas Piazon is willing to move on loan to another Premier League team, Sky
Piazon spent the second half of last season in La Liga with Malaga, making 13 appearances for Manuel Pellegrini’s Champions League quarter-finalists. Piazon was a late substitute in the second round double-header with Porto, coming off the bench in both the 1-0 away defeat and the 2-0 win on the Spanish south coast.
And the former Sao Paolo midfielder said: “ It’s hard to say how often I will play or if I will play at all. We have to wait and see if any Premier League clubs will be interested in me.”
Piazon made sporadic appearances for Chelsea before his temporary switch to Malaga, starting the 6-0 League Cup win over Wolves in September and the 5-4 win over Manchester United in the same competition, playing just under an hour. Piazon’s only league appearance came as a substitute in Chelsea’s 8-0 win over Aston Villa.
Despite seeing his short-term future away from Chelsea, Piazon is encouraged by the return of Mourinho. He added: “I am excited, everything will change. It will be very good to work with someone like Mourinho.”
