Juventus look set to land Carlos Tevez this summer after the Gazzetta
Tevez is on the final year of his contract and could agree a free transfer to another club in January, yet it is unlikely he will be at Eastlands that long following the arrival of Manuel Pellegrini.
The Chilean boss begins his new job next week and will hold talks with Tevez over his future. It is expected City will hold out for at least £12.75m for their forward but a compromise may be reached as Juve value him slightly lower at £10.2m.
Tevez caused a stir when he left Manchester United for City in 2009 and has gone on to win the FA Cup and Premier League title. However, his £196,000-a-week wages have already deterred AC Milan from chasing his signature and Juve are unlikely to budge on any initial offer considering Tevez’s hefty salary.
